1. Executive Summary
The Women in Agribusiness Conference – Kitwe Edition 2026 was successfully held on
27 June 2026 at Ravens Country Club in Kitwe. The conference brought together
women entrepreneurs, commercial farmers, agribusiness professionals, government
representatives, financial institutions, development partners, researchers, and
private-sector stakeholders to promote inclusive growth within Zambia's agricultural
sector.
2. Key Outcomes
Increased networking among women entrepreneurs; improved awareness of available
financing opportunities; greater exposure to innovative farming technologies; and
strengthened support for women-led agricultural enterprises.
3. Conclusion
The conference provided a platform for learning, collaboration, innovation, and
business development—and reinforced the importance of empowering women as drivers of
agricultural transformation in Zambia.
